Barbecue, Sleep and Sonic - OH MY!

After the flight we had I didn't know what I wanted first: Sleep, beer or BBQ. "How about all 3!" suggests my Dad. Brilliant idea!

We went and checked in at the DFW Springhill Suites by Marriott and took a short nap. An hour later I was eating wonderful BBQ and sipping a cold beer. It's funny how good things can get in two hour's time, right? Had I not JUST been on a flight with "EVIL"? (See earlier blog post if this doesn't make sense).

That evening we wanted to go swimming at the indoor pool and when we arrived at the pool we saw that the whole room was flooded with 2 inches of standing water. The spa was overflowing and the floor was covered in warm water. The boys LOVED it! Nina alerted the front dest while we went for a "swim" on the sidewalk. What fun! After about an hour it was baths and bedtime.

The next morning the boys ate breakfast in the hotel lobby in their jammies and then ran around the carpeted hall in front of our rooms as if on parade. Shortly thereafter we were on our way for the 5 hour journey to the GREAT state of Oklahoma!

Along the way lunch time arrived and we all cheered for Sonic! WOO-HOO, Strawberry Limeade slushies here we come!

After a quick run-a-round it was back in the car and up to Tulsa.
